Stainless Steel 304 / 304L Fasteners

Grade 304 is the most used non-magnetic (austenitic) stainless steel. It is also familiar as “18/8” stainless steel because of its composition, which has 8 percent nickel and 18 percent chromium. Stainless steel 304 grades contain welding properties and good forming as well as good strength and excellent oxidation resistance.This grade 304 offers great draw ability. Grade 304L stainless steel-
Grade 304L stainless steel is the version of low carbon of the alloy steel 304. The content of lower carbon in 304 L grade is harmful carbide precipitations or reduces toxic as a result of welding. Grade 304L can be utilized in simple oxidation environments, and it removes the requirement for annealing. This 304L grade compromises some lower mechanical properties than the grade 304, but due to its versatility, it is still highly used. As grade 304 stainless steel it is generally used in winemaking and beer brewing. These are also used in the food industry for construction, mining, and chemical containers. It is highly use in parts of metals such as bolts and nuts that are visible to saltwater.
